Routesms signs up T-Mobile as its Global Direct Connect Partner

MUMBAI: Routesms, one of the global SMS aggregators and messaging & voice API companies has announced that German headquartered T-Mobile has been signed up as their Global Direct Connect Partner (GDCP).

T-Mobile is the 116th mobile network operator (MNO) to sign up as a GDCP with Routesms globally. The company aims to get 150 MNOs onboard by the end of this financial year.

This agreement gives Routesms access to T-Mobile’s 230 million mobile subscribers globally. It also offers better delivery percentages, control over the systems and ability to handle significant traffic capacity. Routesms expects an increase of 7- 8% in the messaging traffic to the existing estimated international volume of over 900 million SMS.

Commenting on the agreement, Rajdip Gupta, Co-founder & CEO, Routesms Solutions, said, “We are focusing very strongly to get enroll 150 MNOs as a GDCPs by the end of this financial year. This will give us unmatched reach, stability and delivery rates. Partnering with T-Mobile gives us more intimate access to T-Mobile’s vast subscribers base as well as increases our coverage reach to countries such  Austria, Croatia (as Hrvatski telekom), Czech Republic, Albania, Germany (as Telekom), Hungary, Macedonia, Montenegro, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, and the United Kingdom, as well as the United States, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Island.”

“Our sustained effort in getting more MNOs onboard has helped us become an automatic choice for enterprises, MNOs and resellers alike when it comes to any messaging requirement worldwide,” added Gupta.
