Mobell forays into India handset market

Mobell has forayed into the Indian mobile handset market in partnership with Salora International. As part of its foray, Mobell has launched seven handsets model and will add six more models by January next year. Salore, on its part will be responsible for marketing and distribution of Mobell handsets in the country. Salora will also be responsible for after sales service. “India is a significant market for us and presents a huge opportunity for us to tap. We will bring handset designed for Indian needs and localization will be important for us. In the first year, the focus will be more on building the brand than on sales. In the next 3-5 years, we would like to see Mobell among the top 10 players in India,” Arthur Tan, MD, Mobell.
