HD voice call on CDMA

Ericsson is on the verge of launching HD voice call on CDMA technology which will significantly increase voice quality, intelligibility and decreases listening fatigue in mobile networks. Ericsson, in association with Qualcomm has successfully demonstrated high definition (HD) voice technology on CDMA technology using the Enhanced Variable Rate Codec Narrowband-Wideband (EVRC-NW) codec. CDMA HD voice delivers speech in a spectral range of 50Hz to 7000Hz.
