Aditya Birla Group Acquires Minacs

The Aditya Birla Group has entered into a definitive agreement
with Minacs Worldwide, Canada's leading BPO provider, to offer $5.50 per share
in cash for all outstanding common shares of Minacs on a fully-diluted basis.
The open offer for the acquisition will be made through TransWorks, a leading
Indian BPO provider and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aditya Birla Nuvo. The
total expected cost of the acquisition will be approximately US$125 mn including
payment for all common shares, and in-the-money option and warrant securities of
the company.

Perot Systems' New Center

Perot Systems has announced its India plans to expand its
resources and facilities to a fourth city, Coimbatore, with the opening of a new
information technology center there. Perot Systems is a worldwide provider of
information technology services and business solutions. The company has operated
facilities in India for the past 10 years, continuously expanding in the South--Bangalore
and Chennai besides Noida.

TCS to Set Up Campus in Pune

Tata Consultancy Services has signed a Memorandum of
Understanding (MoU) with the Maharashtra government to acquire 50 acres of land
to set up a development facility in Hinjewadi Phase III, which is part of a MIDC-promoted
special economic zone. TCS will invest up to Rs 500 crore in the facility to
create a capacity of 5,000 seats. In the long-term, there are plans to ramp-up
the center's capacity to 10,000 seats. In addition to a software development
center, the new Hinjewadi facility will also house professionals from TCS's
Research and Development and Engineering services groups.

ICICI OneSource's Center in Ireland

ICICI OneSource, has announced plans to invest in setting up
outsourcing centers in Northern Ireland, creating around 1,000 jobs over the
next two years. The investment, supported by Invest Northern Ireland (INI) is
expected to deliver over £28 mn in wages and salaries to the local economy by
2008.

IBM Daksh Employee Base Grows

IBM has announced that its subsidiary company IBM Daksh, has
grown to 20,000 employees, up 234% from 6,000 employees at the time of its
acquisition in April 2004. IBM Daksh provides business transformation
outsourcing solutions and services for IBM clients around the world, and is a
key component of IBM's process transformation and management operations.

24/7 Customer, LivePerson Announce
Partnership

24/7 Customer and New York based LivePerson have announced a
strategic partnership. The former will integrate LivePerson's comprehensive
Timpani platform with its customer lifecycle management framework to support and
manage all online customer interactions, including live chat, e-mail and
self-service/knowledge database. This partnership leverages the customer
lifecycle management expertise of 24/7 Customer and the Timpani platform to
engage the right customer with the right communications channel at the right
time.

HCL Inks Deal with Teradyne

HCL has entered into a 5-year, $70 mn multi-service outsourcing
deal with US-based Teradyne, a leading supplier of automatic test equipment. The
scale of the engagement includes IT consulting, application development and
end-to-end application and it infrastructure management involving data center,
network, and security and help desk services. HCL will also be involved in
architecture and design of Teradyne's IT operations and data center migration.
This deal represents an extension of a four-year engagement with Teradyne.

TCS Signs Shareholder Agreement

Tata Consultancy Services Asia Pacific a subsidiary of Tata
Consultancy Services, announced that it had signed a Shareholder Promoters
Agreement and other relevant commercial documents with Beijing Zhongguancun
Software Park Development Uniware and the Tianjin Huayuan Software Area
Construction and Development Co., to establish China's first industrial scale
software company. The JV will provide IT outsourcing services and solutions to
the Chinese domestic market as well as the global market.

Genpact Mulls Center in Philippines

Genpact is in a process of opening a business processing center
in the Philippines. Recruiting has already started at the facility in the
Alabang suburb of Manila. The center will provide finance and accounting
services, customer-service support, collections, and IT services to Genpact's
increasing roster of global clients.

Network Programs Inks Deal

Network Programs (NPI), a provider of end-to-end contact center
solutions and offshore software, has picked up an order from a Chennai-based BPO-Think
Tank Solutions for an Interactive Intelligence (ININ) dialer. This is also the
first deal for NPI under our value-added reseller (VAR) partnership with
interactive intelligence, a US based innovator of business communications
software solutions.
