Coral Telecom-Tata Teleservices tie up for Broadband

Coral Telecom has tied up with Tata Teleservices to distribute their value added services for broadband and basic telephony to residential customers by deploying a series of high-end broadband switches that would be set up throughout the Delhi circle. These switches or street cabinets would be set up either directly by Coral Telecom Ltd or through a series of entrepreneurs across Delhi circle. In the first phase, over the next three months the company expects to install 50 exchanges, each with capacity to provide broadband telephony connections to up to 500 residential customers, which means a total of 25000 lines would be rolled out in the initial phase. These 50 switches would be spread out across the Delhi circle.
