Arya Communications to Foray into IP, ILD Products

Arya Communications would launch products for IP telephony and international long distance within the next two months. While the products will be sourced from different vendors, the implementation and support will be undertaken by Arya Communications. The products would be made available through the company's 10 offices in different cities. The company has hired Guru Hariharan, formerly heading the broadband operations of BSES Telecom in Mumbai, as Senior Vice President to head this new initiative.

Arya is one of Motorola's largest partners for distributing two-way radio systems. While the company is continuing with its distribution service, it has recently sold its radio trunking services business offered under the brand GroupComm to Arvind Mill's OmniTalk. GroupComm was earlier providing services in circles like Delhi, Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore. With the take over, the

GroupComm brand has been withdrawn and OmniTalk brand is being promoted. Arya Comm also has considerable experience in installing radio networks and GSM networks for Motorola. It has executed many such projects for telecom service providers in the country as third party

implementor.
