Ajay Chitkara takes over as airtel business head

Bharti airtel's Ajay Chitkara, who is currently serving as CEO, global data & voice business, has taken over the responsibility of heading airtel business, the enterprise services wing of the telecom behemoth.

The position was vacant since Drew Kelton, president, airtel business had put in his papers last month. Kelton will be handing over the charge at the end of this month.

Kelton had joined bharti airtel in 2010 an dhis primary job was to transform Bharti's enterprise unit into a world class B2B organisation.

Chitkara has been with Bharti airtel for the last 12 years and has been focusing solely on business to business side of the operator.
