Bharti Airtel has choosen Nokia Siemens Networks’ Serve at Once Device Management (SADM) software to be implemented across affiliates in 16 African countries which will allow its mobile customers in Africa to enjoy seamless internet connectivity and simpler, more intuitive mobile data services.
Nokia Siemens Networks under a three year contract will provide its mobile internet browsing solution (MIBS) and multimedia messaging solution (MMSC), hosted on a virtualized and centrally managed VaaS platform.
Along with that NSN will even consolidate the operator’s existing MMSC platforms into one centrally managed virtual platform .
