Zen Mobile launches its first smartphone

Zen Mobile today launched its first smartphone U1 in the Indian market. It is a dual SIM smartphone running on Google's Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. The new device features 8.89-cm (3.5-inch) display and is bundled with 1 GHz processor. Zen Mobile U1 sports a 3.2 MP camera along with flash and offer connectivity options like GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth with A2DP etc. The U1 is a thin and compact device built with battery life of 1200mAh. The smartphone comes pre-loaded with applications like Skype, Facebook and G-talk. It is also incorporated with Map My India mapping software. The new smartphone is available at Rs 4,999.
