CanvasM Technologies, Tech Mahindra's wholly owned VAS subsidiary has announced the launch of its second device test lab in the USA.

This lab aims to provide 3rd party test and certification services to chipset makers, OEMs/ODMS as well as operators across the globe.

CanvasM has already made a strong foray into testing business with the state-of-the-art lab that it established in India a few years ago which achieved the distinction of being one of the fastest growing global labs certifying more than 800 + devices so far, has now spread its wings overseas.

Sirisha Voruganti, chief technology officer, CanvasM Technologies, said "With this addition and constant drive to re-invent ourselves CanvasM will soon be a strong global player in the device/module/accessory and application certification space, servicing close to 30+ ODMs , key operators and enterprise customers."

This lab will be capable of testing multimode devices across CDMA and GSM technologies, giving CanvasM a unique positioning in the global test market.
