Aricent Group has announced the launch of its connected car and connected home solutions and services. Aricent's 'LTE Connected Car' offering enables automotive manufacturers to create innovative in-vehicle infotainment systems (IVI), media entertainment platforms, which help the automotive value chain to enrich infotainment services and provide a seamless extension of media experiences to the car.

Aricent's connected car solution enables users to leverage services like in-car entertainment, remote home monitoring (urveillance), control connected devices at home (thermostats, lights, and TVs), media synchronization between the mobile device and the car head end unit, Wi-Fi handoff, etc.

Enhances VoLTE capabilities

Aricent Group has announced the addition of end-to-end VoLTE capabilities to its comprehensive LTE offering comprising IMS client Application, eNodeB, EPC, and IMS Servers. Besides VoLTE, Aricent Group has made on technologies such as SON, RRM, and LTE-A.

Aricent's VoLTE solution encompasses IMS client, eNodeB, EPC and IMS Servers. Aricent VoLTE Client is available on Android smartphones and is compliant to GSMA IR92 standard. it is available on multiple platforms and devices including iOS, Android, Windows XP, and MAC. Aricent's eNodeb software supports audio specific QoS, on both TDD and FDD modes, necessary to carry enhanced high definition audio and video quality on the LTE network.
