SAP has advanced its business intelligence solutions to help organisations to leverage big data in real time, said a statement. It has added feature pack 3 for 4.0 release of SAP BusinessObjects BI solutions including SAP BusinessObjects BI, Edge edition, software – and the 1.0.1 release of SAP Visual Intelligence software; to let organizations equip users with powerful analytics tools.
The company has added five key pillars to its BI strategy viz core, creative mobile, extreme and social.
Core is basically a foundation for managing BI initiatives – data exploration, visualization, organization, reporting, sharing and more – is core for organizations of all sizes to understand how they are performing, claimed the statement. Creative offers self-service connectivity to different environments and data sources, it helps customers unlock deeper business insights. It brings in mobility, real-time and predictive analytics to tackle 'big data,' uncover hidden risks and reveal untapped opportunities.
“New innovations in areas such as 'big data,' cloud, collaboration, mobile, predictive, social and visualization have helped create a renaissance for the entire BI industry,” said Howard Dresner, chief research officer, Dresner Advisory Services.
