NEW DELHI: Country’s second largest telecom service provider Vodafone India has said that it is all set to launch its 4G services in Kerala by the end of this year.

Important centers including Kochi, Trivandrum and Kozhikode will be part of the first wave of the 4G roll-out, which will be launched across the circle in a phased manner.

“The company said that is has invested more than Rs 350 crores in Kerala towards network upgradation in the current fiscal and it has over 5,300 sites in Kerala,” the company said.

The testing of 4G services has commenced successfully and the company has partnered with leading global technology infrastructure service providers for the network roll-out.

Kerala has a huge market for Vodafone India with around 15 percent of data revenues, which helps in maximising the company’s growth of over 80 percent YoY.
