Videocon unveils A42 smartphone for Rs 7,490

Videocon Mobiles on Tuesday launched its latest Videocon A42 smartphone for Rs 7, 490 in Indian market. The new device A42 runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. It is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device with dual standby.

It has a 4.5-inch screen with 654x480p resolution and has a 1.2GHz dual-core processor. The device is backed by 512MB RAM, and features dual-sim functionality. This device comes with 4GB internal storage and supports microSD cards up to 32GB.

Videocon has used a 5MP rear camera with LED flash on the back and a 1.3MP unit in front. Connectivity options in the phone include 2G, 3.75G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB. It is powered by a 1,700mAh battery and comes in black and white colours.

The Videocon A42 answers all the smartphone needs of the customer, with innovative features like Dual SIM Dual Standby, a powerful 1.2 GHz Dual Core Processor, 3.75G connectivity, 1700 mAh battery, a 5MP rear camera and 1.3MP front camera, preloaded apps and more.
