Truecaller and WE-Hub sign agreement to support women entrepreneurs in Telangana

Leaders of the organisations will also provide mentoring and other support as needed in response to requests from Start-ups and women entrepreneurs.

In order to support women-led enterprises in the State, WE-HUB, a Telangana state-led incubator inked a memorandum of understanding(MoU) with Caller ID and spam detection mobile communications platform, Truecaller as a state government effort to support women entrepreneurs.

With the addition of mobile number verification, Truecaller will make its software development kit (SDK) available to businesses in order to enhance their user funnel. The SDK is developed with the intent to assist numerous organisations in growing and advancing their operations and is intended to assist developers in quickly creating world-class verification infrastructure.

In addition, Truecaller will give 25,000 dollars in advertising credit to help new start-ups, entrepreneurs, their goods, and services gain awareness and market share, according to a release from WE-Hub on Monday.

Deepthi Ravula, CEO of WE-Hub, and Pragya Misra, director of public affairs at Truecaller, signed the MoU in the presence of Jayesh Ranjan, secretary of industries and information technology. According to Mr. Ranjan , "The Telangana administration has always encouraged cooperation between organisations and believes in the advantages and effects of encouraging startups in State."

True caller will support rewards and awards for participating in WE-Hub and Truecaller-hosted hackathons on mutually agreed-upon problem statements. Leaders of the organisations will also provide mentoring and other support as needed in response to requests from Start-ups and women entrepreneurs.
