NEW DELHI: In a bid to make learning technology affordable and easily accessible to all, India’s EdTech company, ConveGenius has launched the Micro SD Card version of their Edutainment Solution called CG Slate. The CG Slate Micro SD Card will be available in three variants – for Classes KG-2, Classes 3-5, and Classes KG-5, all mapped to the NCERT curriculum.
The company which had earlier collaborated with Lenovo to launch CG Slate Tablet has launched the Micro SD card solution to support its vision to provide world-class, yet affordable solutions for kids in India. It comes with a ‘single device only’ license compatible with Android OS 4.3 and above.
Any smartphone/tablet can be converted into a CG Slate by inserting the Micro SD Card and loading the CG Slate app (from the Google Play Store). With the newest app update, the app also restricts access to other applications on the phone, if set in the restrictive mode, hence allowing parent to safely let their children use their personal devices. The Micro SD Card is available at Rs. 1999 onwards.
The press release explains in detail that the CG Slate ensures integrated learning from its 1500+ premium learning modules mapped to NCERT curriculum. It makes learning fun through interactive video stories, books, educational worksheets, quizzes, and fun games. Subjects are broken down into levels and stages, and as the child learns, the learning scores provide access to more play time to enjoy games, cartoons, videos etc. The learning can also yield cash backs on their favorite toys on Flipkart, says Edutainment.
