Commenting on the launch Romil Mittal, Co-founder, Siftr Labs said, “Cleaning up memory manually is a tedious task and current junk cleaning apps don’t provide AI powered auto cleaning solutions. Magic Cleaner is a first of its kind app which will analyze and delete unwanted images from smartphones thus freeing up memory space and making your phone work faster for you.” Magic Cleaner is AI powered and it scans photo gallery of smartphones to zero in on junk pictures. Siftr has built a repository of more than 3 crore images on its server; as a result, a user doesn’t have to upload most of the photos from his phone to the server.

Mayank Bhagya, Co-founder, Siftr Labs says, “Dr Kleen analyses all your photos and videos within seconds, making use of the most advanced cutting technologies (deep learning and neural networks) to identify the junk photos coming from your messenger apps.” The app is available in English, Malay, Spanish, Chinese, French, Portuguese, German and Italian.

Siftr Labs has been working towards creating products for sorting and curating images. They founders started with Siftr Photo Website Builder that would enable a user to build a curated photo website of all the images which they have shared on any social media. The company recently secured seed funding of $150,000 from early-stage fund Venture Catalyst.
