These benefits are possible through SEI’s Intelligent Business Management Systems customised for the IT/ITeS sector and other domains.

Elaborating on the occasion,  Srirangarajan Kadaba, Director, Solution Business, Schneider Electric India, said: “While there is much talk about the benefits of using the IoT to drive Smart Facilities and Smart operations, varied stakeholders, including IT/ITeS businesses, do not know how to go about this. The Smart Facilities Roundtable helped them understand the benefits of using IoT and Building Analytics to improve operational excellence and efficiency, while harnessing these technologies for increased productivity. Besides boosting bottom-lines, Smart Facilities ensure greater productivity and sustainability. Moreover, with Pune being developed as a Smart City, it is imperative that various stakeholders fully comprehend what Smart Facilities are all about and how to deploy them to stay ahead of the curve.”

With IT/ITeS margins coming under increasing pressure quarter after quarter, year after year, the IT industry needs to create Smart Facilities that can help curb costs by up to 30% in the long run. The Roundtable demystified how this was possible by using IoT and Building Analytics.
