Simon will play an important role in planning and executing the globalization strategy of Samsung's mobile network business.

Simon is a renowned figure within the mobile infrastructure sector and was previously responsible for leading the re-organization and transformation of Nokia Solutions and Networks (formerly Nokia Siemens Networks) as Chief Executive.

He has recently been working as CEO of Digital Mobile Spectrum Limited (DMSL), also known as a not-for-profit organization established by four mobile network operators in the United Kingdom to mitigate possible interference issues resulting from the coexistence of digital terrestrial television (DTT) and 4G LTE service in the 800MHz band.
