New Delhi: Telecom firm RCom’s Chief Marketing Officer Nilanjan Mukherjee has resigned from the company, along with him, Suresh Sahu, a human resources director, has also quit.

Meanwhile, the company's regulatory and compliance chief CS Rao is retiring and will be replaced by Punit Garg, head of its India enterprise business, by the end of this month.

News reports said Mukherjee has resigned to set up a startup in the value-added services space.

Speculations are also rife that Vinod Sawhny, who joined in February this year on a two-year contract, may also leave before completion of his term. Earlier this year, RCOM undertook a restructuring to separate its CDMA and GSM businesses and Mukherjee was widely believed to be driving the CDMA operations.
