RCom's Alpna J Doshi joins Royal Philips as group CIO

NEW DELHI: Reliance Communications (RCom) chief information officer (CIO) Alpna Doshi has submitted her resignation paper before the company and joined Royal Philips as group CIO. She has spent six and half years in Anil Ambani-led Reliance Group's telecom firm.

"She has joined Royal Philips as group CIO, business transformation and IT worldwide, at the company's Netherlands headquarters ," according to her linkedin profile.

Doshi, with over two decades of experiences in Information, Communication, and Entertainment industries, is driving key IT Transformational Initiatives to support Business growth for Reliance.

She has been well known for her skilled execution, turning around companies and thought leadership with excellent people management skills. Her 360 degree Management style uniquely stands out in the Telecom and IT industries worldwide, where she has effectively broken through the glass ceiling and is a globally recognized, accomplished and result oriented leader.

She has been implementing cutting edge technology, improving process and productivity. She has strived to improve company baselines through innovative Products and Open source software.

Doshi has successfully led major initiatives in Telecom, Media and Entertainment industry with Telcos (Verizon and now Reliance), Systems Integrators and Suppliers (Telcordia Technology and Mahindra Satyam) and Management and Strategy Consulting (Deloitte and Touche Management Consulting) A technology buff, she has also enabled Business transformation for multiple verticals like BFSI, Infrastructure, Power, Health and Entertainment.
