NSN will deploy 3G network for BH telecom

Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) will deploy 3G HSPA+ radio access network and related services for subscribers of BH telecom in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

NSN will implement its award- winning flexi multiradio base station, the industry's smallest and most energy-efficient offering which is modular and easy to implement. The rollout will include 3G deployment on the 2100 MHz and 900 MHz bands for greater coverage, as well as dual cell HSPA+ for higher data speeds. NSN will also upgrade the multi-vendor network management system NetAct to efficiently monitor, optimize and configure BH telecom's networks.

Subscribers will soon enjoy high-speed mobile broadband services such as video downloads and internet browsing with data speeds up to 30 Mbps" said Nedad Reidbegović, CEO of BH telecom.

In addition, NSN will provide a range of services including project management, network implementation, optimization, and care services to improve network efficiency and enhance the quality of service.
