Network i2i Appoints New CEO

Network i2i, a 50:50 joint venture between Singapore Telecommunications Ltd (SingTel) and the Bharti Group has announced the appointment of Ng Seng Sum as its new CEO, and as a member of the Network i2i's Board of Directors. 

Ng takes over the helm of Network i2i from Yoong-Sim Hong Siang, who has made significant contributions to Network i2i since the inception of the company, and will be moving on to be Director of International Network Development under SingTel's Global Business Group. Ng will oversee Network i2i's operations. A veteran in the telecommunications business with over 30 years of experience, Mr Ng has held various senior management positions in SingTel, including managing the Group's international and mobile networks, as well as its international carrier services. Until recently, he was the Chief Operating Officer of New Century Info-Comm Company (NCIC), a SingTel joint venture company which operates a fixed-line network in Taiwan.
