MWC 2015: Gionee introduces ELIFE S7

NEW DELHI: Chinese company Gionee has unveiled ELIFE S7, its new flagship smartphone, at Mobile World Congress 2015, which has been priced at EUR 399 (approximately Rs 24,000).

Powered by Mediatek's new 64-but 1.7Ghz octa core processor, the S7 has 2GB RAM and 16GB of storage. The dual SIM smartphone features a 5.2-inch super amoled display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

On the battery front, Gionee has included a 2,750mAh battery (non removable). The phone comes with a 13MP primary camera that uses Gionee's new image processing system. The updated image processing system enables the phone to capture 6 photos in 1 second. The phone has a 8MP camera on the front.

It is 5.5mm thick and has an aluminum magnesium alloy unibody design with Gorilla glass 3 on the front and rear. It is the first phone to come with Gionee's new Amigo 3.0 user interface that is based on the latest Android 5.0.

Other features include 4G support, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS.
