MTS woos Kerala customers; cuts voice tariffs

KOCHI: Sistema Shyam TeleServices Limited (SSTL), which operates under the brand MTS in India, has reduced its voice tariffs to 25 paise for customers in Kerala.

Prepaid voice customers will be able to make all local and national calls and SMS at 25 paise for one year. In addition, the customers will be charged 25 paise for every MB of data consumed. Postpaid data customers will get Rs 100 worth of discount on the monthly plan of Rs 875 for one year.

On the occasion of Vishu, MTS India will also provide a coloured handset with FM Radio, MP3 and Torch at Rs 999. The company will offer its new prepaid voice customers the freedom to make calls and SMS all over India at just 25 paise.
