MTS launches MTS Duet for Rs 4,799

Sistema Shyam TeleServices (SSTL) has launched MTS Duet.The Android Smartphone comes bundled with unlimited voice and data benefits. It has a dual SIM (CDMA + GSM) smartphone and priced at Rs 4,799.

The new device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 1 GHz Processor, MTS Duet is based on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. For the introductory offer, MTS is offering customers first recharge of Rs 599 to enjoy unlimited local calls and data usage for 2 months.

This is part of the company's strategy to offer greater choice to its customers. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 processor featuring a 1 GHz CPU with integrated CDMA, the new addition to the MTS Smartphone portfolio runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and comes bundled with a very aggressive voice and data plan.

Launch of smartphone is supported by an integrated communication program which includes leveraging Out-of-Home (OOH) media, digital media, road shows and TV ommercials. To start off, the handset will be exclusively made available in Delhi, Jaipur, Bangalore and Chennai.

MTS Duet comes packed with a vibrant 8.89 cm (3.5") 320X480 (HVGA) pixel display with capacitive touch, runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. The Smartphone comes with a 1200 mAh battery. MTS Duet features a 3 Mega Pixel camera, high speed Wireless Tethering - Mobile Hotspot, an expandable memory slot of up to 32 GB.
