BANGALORE: Samsung Electronics has announced the launch of two mid-segment tablets-Galaxy Tab A and Galaxy Tab E in India, priced at Rs 20,500 and 16,900, respectively.

Both the tablets support voice-calling capability and incorporate expandable memory up to a massive 128GB.

In terms of specifications, Galaxy Tab A has an optimal viewing experience with its 4:3 aspect ratio and adaptive display. At 7.5mm in thickness, Tab A weighs only 320 grams.

The device is capable of automatically adjusting the colour gamut, contrast and sharpness on the screen to add to the viewing pleasure. Galaxy Tab A is 4G-LTE enabled and supports multiple frequency bands for both FDD and TDD modes, for faster video streaming and webpage loading.

Galaxy Tab E is an android tablet with a sleek with a 9.6-inch screen size and will be available for sale on Flipkart. It is 8.5mm slim and weighs 495 grams.
