Micromax launches Canvas Spark at Rs 4,999

NEW DELHI: Domestic handset maker Micromax has launched its new Android smartphone, the Canvas Spark priced at Rs 4,999.

The smartphone will be available exclusively on online portal Snapdeal through flash sales starting April 29, 2015.

The Canvas Spark features a 4.7-inch qHD (960×540 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Running on Android's latest operating system Lollipop, it is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MTK6582 quad-core processor and has 1GB of RAM.

It sports 8GB of internal storage and supports a microSD card. Besides, it is equipped with an 8-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front facing camera and a 2,000mAh battery.

The dual SIM smartphone with 3G support, has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS for connectivity options.
