NEW DELHI: Government of India has appointed senior Kerala Cadre IAS officer Aruna Sundararajan as new Secretary for Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEIT).
The portfolios of Aruna Sharma and Sundararajan, were swapped in the reshuffle. Both are 1982 batch IAS officers.
"Smt. Aruna Sundararajan, IAS (KL 82), Secretary, Ministry of Steel, as Secretary, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology vice Smt Aruna Sharma on her appointment as Secretary, Ministry of Steel," said Department of Personnel and Training(DoPT) in its order.
