Lenovo launches three new smartphones

NEW DELHI:  Chinese personal computer, tablets and smart-phone maker Lenovo has announced new additions in the A series: A6600, A6600 Plus and A7700, three feature packed budget smartphones for consumers.

The new smartphones are 4G ready & VoLTE enabled multimedia powerhouses for entertainment on the go. The new A series is compatible with Reliance JIO and users can avail the Reliance JIO preview offer with a validity of 90 days.

Speaking on the announcement, Sudhin Mathur, Executive Director - Mobile Business Group, Lenovo India said, “The Lenovo A series is one of our star performers and last year, we sold a million plus units of A6000, A6000 Plus and A7000. Continuing the legacy, the A6600 and A7700 series offers brilliant performance with unparalleled user experience at a competitive price point.”

The A6600 series comes with Android 6.0 out of the box with minimum bloatware and give users more storage and speed compared to competition. An extraordinary undisrupted performance is ensured all thanks to a 64-bit MediaTek® 6735p quad-core 1.0GHz processor along with 1GB of RAM in A6600 and 2GB RAM in A6600 Plus respectively.

With a matter rear design, chrome finished accents and 72% screen to body ratio, the A6600 series is equipped with a brilliant 5 inch HD screen with 800:1 contrast ratio that provides a great visual experience to users while watching video or playing games. The 8MP autofocus rear camera with flash lets you capture incredible photos with features like automatic face detection, automatic scene detection and zero shutter delay.

The new A6600 series supports dual VoLTE enabled SIMs that makes HD voice calling easy. Both come with 16GB internal storage capacity which is further expandable and helps users maintain easy access to a huge archive of music, movies and games. The latest A6600 series is backed by a 2300 mAh battery.

The new A6600 series starts at INR 6,999 onwards (includes both 1GB and 2GB variants) in Matte White and Matte Black color options and devices will be available at your nearest retail outlet starting mid-September.

Lenovo A7700

Lenovo A7700 is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek® 6735p quad-core 1.0GHz processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. Combination of a 5.5 inch HD display with twin rear speakers powered by Waves Maxxaudio effect brings out delightful multimedia experience as Waves Maxxaudio technology helps in amplifying sound while minimizing noise and voice distortions.

With dual LED flash and 8 MP rear camera, clicking pictures especially in low light conditions is a delight with results capturing stunning details. Backed by 2900 mAh battery, the new A7700 supports VoLTE enabled SIM making HD voice calling easy on the go.

Available in Matte white and Matte black color options, the Lenovo A7700 comes preloaded with Android 6.0 with 16GB internal storage capacity which is further expandable.

The new A7700 is priced at INR 8,540 and will be available at your nearest retail outlet in September end.
