Microsoft recognizes KSUM-mentored ConceptBytes with Emerging AI Focused Start-up Award

ConceptBytes has bagged the ‘Emerging AI Focused Start-up’ award at Forbes Microsoft event held in Mumbai. The event was attended by Satya Nadella, CEO, Microsoft, Jean Philippe Courtois, Executive Vice President, Marketing and Operations, Microsoft, and several other senior executives spearheading AI-focused enterprises.

After its initial stint with the Non-Invasive Hybrid Cloud framework for banks, ConceptBytes switched to enterprise SaaS product portfolio. Its platform Smart Surveillance offers a portfolio of four SaaS products to enterprises to safeguard their intend behind existing surveillance systems.

Smart Surveillance addresses key challenges like ensuring system availability, fail-safe backup and generating actionable intelligence on their existing surveillance systems.

Currently, Smart Surveillance has sustained traction of 4-plus years from private sector banks, NBFC, schools, retail chains from India, Middle East and African markets with about 40,000 online devices.

Smart Surveillance has about three patents and is listed in Microsoft Azure Marketplace with special recognition as  ‘Microsoft Preferred Solution’.

ConceptBytes is qualified as Independent Software Vendor with Microsoft and hence Smart Surveillance enjoys Microsoft GTM support globally.

Further, they have partnered with IT organizations (CMMI L5, CMMI L3) and system integrators in India, Middle East, and African markets, towards their GTM strategy.

The startup is led by Anand Subhash and Mannon Valiyaparambil. This year ConceptBytes is aiming to extend product portfolio to seven products.

It is also part of the Microsoft Highway to 100 Unicorns program, an event facilitated by KSUM in November 2019.
