Kodak Ektra smartphone with 21MP camera launched in India

NEW DELHI: Kodak Ektra smartphone is now available in India, which would be available exclusively on Flipkart at Rs 19,990 .

"The new device is already available in the USA and Europe, the Kodak Ektra smartphone lets keen photographers capture exceptional images, whatever the environment, with an incredibly fast smartphone, tuned for the best in image quality and media management," the company said.

“Driven by the enthusiasm from customers globally, we are thrilled to bring the KODAK EKTRA to photo enthusiasts in India.,” said Peter Stephens, CEO Bullitt Group, a Kodak licensee for mobile devices.

The KODAK EKTRA Smartphone is all about capturing the moment, telling a story, and revelling the experience of photography. Our latest features and performance adjustments include RAW support, all of which will help drive our customers’ creativity," added Stephens.

The phone has a deca-core Helio X20 processor, 3GB RAM, a 5-inch Full HD display, 32GB storage, a microSD card slot, and a 3,000mAh battery. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and has a USB Type-C port for charging.

It comes with 21-megapixel camera on the back with f2.0 aperture, while the front features a 13-megapixel shooter with phase detection auto focus (PDAF) and f2.2 aperture.
