Kae Capital invests in gaming startup Hypernova Interactive

BENGALURU: Bengaluru-based gaming startup, Hypernova Interactive has announced that the company has raised an undisclosed amount of Seed Investment from one of India’s leading early stage investors, Kae Capital. This is reportedly the first investment by Kae in the gaming sector.

Hypernova Interactive develops fun and innovative multiplayer games for mobile. The studio was founded by Mayur Bhimjiyani and Huzaifa Arab.

Commenting on securing the funds, Mayur Bhimjiyani, Founder of Hypernova said, “With the advent of mobile phones, the gaming industry has seen explosive growth in the past few years. We are focused on building top notch gaming experiences for global audiences. Our vision is to build an Esports ecosystem for mobile. Kae Capital shares our vision of building games for a global audience rather than just India. They have been a great investment partner with their keen understanding of the needs of early stage companies. We are very happy to have them on board as a part of this journey.”

Last August, the company launched War Tanks, an online real-time multiplayer game and later the second game, Space Titans was launched recently on Android. Few reports reveal that both the games are popular and are well-received in the market.
