Jio drops the final two Disney+Hotstar bundled plans

Disney+Hotstar bundle deal on Jio's plans terminated. Rs 1499 and Rs 4199 Reliance Jio prepaid plans are no longer offered to subscribers.

Reliance Jio brings new subscription plans with Disney+Hotstar

The Rs 1499 and Rs 4199 Reliance Jio prepaid plans are no longer offered to subscribers. They were only remaining alternatives for Jio consumers which provided Disney+Hotstar Premium subscription to users who wanted access to Disney+Hotstar as a part of the plan subscription.

The Disney+Hotstar bundle deal on the bulk of Reliance Jio's prepaid plans has been terminated. Earlier, plans starting at Rs 499, Rs 601, Rs 799, Rs 1099, Rs 333, Rs 419, Rs 583, Rs 783, Rs 1,199, Rs 1,499 and Rs 4,199 were all compatible with Jio's bundle OTT subscription.

Last month, Jio discontinued with the plans that included a Disney+Hotstar Mobile subscription. However, The prepaid plans included with the Disney+Hotstar Premium subscription still allowed users to reload their devices. Prepaid plans for Rs 1499 and Rs 4199 were the only two remaining plans that included the subscription, but as of right present, neither of these options can be seen on the telecom provider's website or their mobile application.

The Rs 1499 package included unlimited voice calling, 100 daily SMS, and 2GB of broadband per day. It provided access to a number of Jio apps. The Disney+Hotstar Premium bundle had a one-year duration, and the plan had an 84-day validity period.

The Rs 4199 package, on the other hand, included unlimited voice calls for a year along with various Jio applications, 100 SMS per day, and 3GB of daily internet. The Disney+Hotstar membership included in this plan also came with the validity for 1 year.

IPL streaming rights are now owned by Reliance Industries Limited-owned Viacom 18. Jio no longer offers any prepaid plans with OTT benefits included. However, we may anticipate the telco introducing new OTT offerings soon.
