Jai Ganesh named head, Mphasis Next Labs

NEW DELHI: IT solutions provider Mphasis has named Jai Ganesh as Vice President and Head of Mphasis Next Labs.

In his current role, Jai will lead Mphasis Next Labs to focus on disruptive and transformational innovations in the SMAC (Social, Mobility, Analytics and Cloud), IoT and Automation space through applied research, IP Creation, thought leadership and new product, service, platform and solution development.

Mphasis Next Labs will work with Academia, Research Labs, Start-ups and New Technology Partners.

Mphasis Next Labs is a strategic initiative by Mphasis to research and innovate on emergent and future paradigms related to Mphasis’ focus areas through disruptive world class innovations, thought leadership and industry relevant solutions.

Till now, Ganesh was with Cognizant Technology Solutions where he was the Director, SMAC Solutions. Prior to Cognizant, he was the Principal Research Scientist for Infosys Ltd where he headed the Pervasive Computing Institute in Infosys and led innovation, technology strategy, research, IP creation, thought leadership, product and service innovations.
