NEW DELHI: India’s telecom tower company Indus Towers has appointed Hemant Kumar Ruia as the Chief Financial Officer. Ruia brings along with him an experience of over 23 years, across diverse industries in various coveted organizations. He holds an extensive experience in Business Partnering, Funds Management, Information Systems, Legal and Secretarial and other aspects of leading the Finance function.

Speaking on the occasion, Bimal Dayal, CEO, Indus Towers said, “I would like to congratulate Ruia on his new role and wish him success. The first step towards building an institution is to build a great team. I am very happy to announce that Ruia joins the leadership team at Indus. I am confident that Hemant will scale greater heights and further strengthen the strong foundation of the company with his knowledge and experience.”

Ruia joins Indus Towers from Reliance Retail Limited, where he was designated as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and played the role of business partner across various brands with Reliance Retail – Reliance Fresh, Digital, Jewellery, Trends, Footwear and Reliance Markets.

Commenting about his move, Ruia, said, “I am highly honored to join the Indus Towers family. I will give my best in working towards maintaining the enduring relationships with our employees and business partners.”

Ruia started his career with Larsen & Tourbo and has since then worked with ICI India Limited and Reckitt Benkiser India, before moving to Agro Tech Food Limited (subsidiary of ConAgra Foods Incorporated) where he was the CFO for over seven years.
