NEW DELHI: Honor, Huawei’s e-brand for digital natives, has announced that the smartphone maker has experienced an overwhelming demand for its Honor 6X in India, as its second flash sale ended after the stock ran out in less than a minute, making the Honor 6X a bestseller on Amazon.
The Honor 6X, which won several awards at the Consumer Electronics Summit (CES), was launched in India last month. Priced at Rs 12,999 (for 3GB Version) & Rs 15,999 (for 4GB Version), the Honor 6X has generated a lot of attention from fans all over the country.
“We are excited with the overwhelming response to the flash sale of our debut 4GB variant and congratulate all those who managed to get their hands on the Honor 6X. Consumers who could not register or buy the device during the second flash sale, we would like to remind them to register immediately for the next flash sale on February 16 th 2 pm, so go register at Amazon,” said P Sanjeev, Vice President Sales, Huawei India – Consumer Business Group.
The smartphone is localized for the Indian users with EMUI availability in 14 local languages (Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Marathi, Tamil, Urdu, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Oriya, Punjabi, Assamese, Maithili and Nepali) and comes with the SOS button which will act as an emergency alarm and send an SMS to preset numbers and also provide location information. Additionally, the smartphone will be manufactured in the Chennai manufacturing unit starting February 2017.
The Honor 6X is available exclusively on Amazon and the company states that it ran out of stock in less than a minute for its second flash sale on February 9, 2017. The next flash sale for the Honor 6X is scheduled for February 16th at 2 pm and fresh registrations for the sale are open on Amazon till midnight of February 14th.
