Idea Cellular partners with Bharat Broadband Network

NEW DELHI: As a deep penetrated network in rural India, telecom operator Idea Cellular has partnered with Bharat Broadband Network Ltd (BBNL) to provide high speed broadband connectivity in deep rural pockets of India.

Rajat Mukarji, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, Idea Cellular presented a cheque for the first tranche of this project, to Manoj Sinha, MoS for Communications and Railways; Ravi Shankar Prasad, Minister of Law and Justice and Electronics and Information Technology; and Prakash Javadekar, Union Minister for Human Resource Development.
