On digital technologies that are of immediate relevance for Indian enterprises:
We believe that the confluence of social media, mobility, analytics, and cloud computing will be a potent and leading business-technology enabler of the next decade. SMAC may provide the much-needed boost for India’s IT sector.
On how enterprises should transition to the digital paradigm:
Huawei is upbeat about the opportunities emerging from government initiatives and the recent push for a digital economy. We feel that India is at the cusp of a digital revolution and we look forward to leveraging our global experience to help enterprises transition to the digital paradigm.
ICT system is a key part of Digital India strategy. As a global leader in ICT solutions, Huawei have advanced solutions in smart city, ISP, finance, traffic, power, education and other industries.
Our global expertise in vectoring solutions is a step in this direction. Huawei’s large-capacity vectoring system is a boon for solving operators’ requirements. Vectoring increases the bandwidth of traditional copper lines making it an ideal choice for superfast broadband access.
At the recent Enterprise ICT Summit India held in Mumbai, Huawei introduced a new innovation from its industry collaborations in the financial sector: the New Financial Cloud Solution for Mission Critical jointly developed by Huawei and Infosys Finacle, designed to ease some of the IT challenges of the finance and banking sectors. There is a new global trend among financial institutions looking to deploy cloud in multiple services areas.
ICT, that was a supporting system even a few years back, has emerged as a production system in most of the industry verticals. Today, no industry can realize its potential fully without optimizing ICT system and are therefore witnessing digital transformations. Huawei’s mission is to help our customer to realize the potential of digital transformations. When it comes to making a city smart, ICT infrastructure is the backbone and plays a key role even in smart energy management being the integral part of smart grid and Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI).
The digital economy is changing the way we work and live. New ICT technologies in the digitalization era are also optimizing business models and opening up new market opportunities. To help the business world seize new opportunities and address upcoming challenges, Huawei remains committed to building a better-connected world and a strong industry ecosystem relying on continuous innovations and open partnerships, leading new ICT transformations and helping enterprises stay ahead in increasingly competitive markets
On digitization framework for a smooth transition:
As a global leader in ICT solutions, Huawei provides innovative, differentiated, and leading ICT hardware and software infrastructure products to help customers address challenges from digital transformation and achieve business success.
By localizing our operations and building a global value chain, we help local innovators maximize their global value and share win-win outcomes. In the fast-changing digital world, Huawei will cooperate extensively with key partners across India to solidify a thriving ecosystem, and work closely with its customers to drive digital transformation that meets their specific industry needs while building a better-connected world.
On effectiveness of off-the-shelf tools for digitization:
Industrial leaders are digitizing essential functions within their internal vertical operations processes, as well as with their horizontal partners along the value chain. In addition, they are enhancing their product portfolio with digital functionalities and introducing innovative, data based services.
At the end of this transformation process, successful industrial companies will become true digital enterprises, with physical products at the core, augmented by digital interfaces and data based, innovative services. These digital enterprises will work together with customers and suppliers in industrial digital ecosystems.
With steady growth, Huawei adheres to the “being integrated” strategy and joint innovation, opening up technologies and platforms to partners to build a more open new ecosystem.
This, we believe is a healthy strategy to help accelerate the pace of digital transformation in enterprises.
