GSK Consumer Healthcare appoints Raj Khemani to lead India IT business

Khemani will be a member of the India Leadership Team and will be based in Gurgaon office of GSK.

NEW DELHI: GSK Consumer Healthcare Ltd has appointed Raj Khemani as the IT Lead, Indian sub-continent. Khemani will be a member of the India Leadership Team and will be based in Gurgaon. Raj joins GSK from Clariant India where he was the Vice President, IT, managing information security strategy, SAP processes and leveraging them for business.

Commenting on the appointment Manoj Kumar, Managing Director, GSK Consumer Healthcare, said “I am excited to have Raj join our leadership team. He brings with him over 16 years of experience and has an exceptional track record of business successes in each of his previous roles. His deep understanding of information technology coupled with extensive learning across sectors will further augment our business capabilities. I wish him success in his new role.”

On his appointment, Raj Khemani said, “I am delighted to be a part of GSK Consumer Healthcare family and look forward to collaborate across functions. Raj’s earlier role was at Bristol-Myers Squibb, where he was the IT Head & Information Security Lead for Asia Pacific & Japan. Prior to this, he was with Pfizer where he was managing the business technology processes. Raj also had stints with Microsoft and Ranbaxy in the capacity of Technical Lead and Project Lead respectively. Raj has a degree in Business Data Processing and Economics from Delhi University.
