Gionee launches smartphone-Marathon M5 Lite at Rs 12,999 in India

NEW DELHI: Chinese mobile phone maker Gionee has launched its new smartphone-Marathon M5 Lite for of Rs 12,999 in India. The phone is going to be available at all retail outlets and Snapdeal in the online space.

The new device is powered by 4000 mAh Li- Po battery, the M5 Lite has a standby time 450 hours and a 32.7 hours of talk time.

“The device is inbuilt with a smart power consumption system especially under Extreme mode; it can provide a talk time of 3 hours and standby time of upto 32 hours even if there is only 5% of power left. The M5 Lite can be charged comparatively faster and is also capable of reverse charging – it can be used as a power bank to charge spare cell phones at the same time,” claimed by the company.

“Marathon M5 Lite boasts on an 8 MP Rear camera and 5 MP Front camera,” a statement said.

“Gionee M5 Lite contributes to a display configuration of stunning 12.7 cm (5.0) HD IPS Dragontrail displaywith captive multi touch 5 points, an internal memory capacity of 32 GB ROM + 3GB RAM with the memory card expandable up to 128 GB,” it said.

“After the runaway success with the Marathon Series i.e. M2, M3, M4 and recently launched M5 capacity Smartphone, we are strengthening our focus to the battery phones and are excited to introduce to you the Marathon M5 Lite.
