Gionee launches Marathon M6, M6 Plus smartphones in Beijing

NEW DELHI: Chinese smartphone maker, Gionee has unveiled its brand new flagship Marathon M6 and M6 plus smartphones in an event in Beijing.

Gionee Marathon M6 has a 13MP Sony IMX258 rear-camera, along with an 8MP front-facing shooter. The phone is available in 64GB and 128GB in-built storage variants, both of which can be expanded further up to 128GB via microSD cards. The phone will be available in Gold and Latte Gold colour variants.

The M6 is packed with a typical 5000mAh battery and the M6 Plus has an amazing 6020 mAh battery capacity.

The Gionee M6 also features a 5.5-inch full HD AMOLED display, 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM which is able to enlarge to 128 ROM. A 13 MP rear camera from Sony IMX 258 and 8 MP front camera. Its operating system, Amigo 3.2 based on Android 6.0, will be pre-installed on the handset and is easy to use and ensures a better user experience.

The Marathon M6 will be going on sale in China starting August 6 at CNY 2699 for 64GB version and CNY 2899 for 128GB version.Similarly, the larger Marathon M6 Plus will hit the shelves on August 13 at CNY 2999 and CNY 3199 for 64GB and 128GB inbuilt storage variants.
