Free calls, SMS for Chennai people from BSNL

NEW DELHI: State-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) said that it will provide free calls, SMS and data package for next seven days to extend a helping hand to the stranded people of Chennai due to floods.

"The telecom operator will provide free calls, SMS and data package for next seven days for people of Tamilnadu and Chennai," said BSNL on its social media account.

The company is offering free voice calls and STD and data package of 100MB for prepaid customers and  is also offering free voice calls and 100MB data package for landline and broadband customers,

There will be a rental rebate of seven days and extension of billing cycle by 15 days for the postpaid customers.
