In its 23rd rocket launch and landing of 2022, Elon Musk's SpaceX successfully launched the satellite into the orbit for the Egyption business, Nilesat. This booster's launch and landing were the seventh and eighth, respectively.

It had earlier backed the launch of two GPS satellites, as well as two commercial crewed missions- the Inspiration4 mission to Earth orbit in September 2021, and Ax-1, the first all-private astronaut journey to the international space station, which launched in April.  According to the company, it also assisted with the launch of two Starlink missions.

Nilesat 301 will be launched into geostationary orbit, which is 35,800 kilometers above the Earth's surface. In June 2022, SpaceX plans to launch up to five more missions, including a strangely secretive Globalstar mission and a Starlink launch in mid-June.

It also plans to fly SARah-1 and rideshare payloads by (NET) June 18, as well as the SES-22 communications satellite and Dragon's CRS-25 space station cargo delivery by (NET) June 28, according to Teslarati.com.
