Comptel’s solutions supporting Nexterday operations work as super-facility collecting and processing both past and in-the-moment data (real-time) to provide situational insights into each individual customer, their context as it happens.

From that insights, operator can trigger in-the-moment actions, which are relevant to their customers – thus boosting both usage of the data services and consequently revenues, the company said.

As far as congested network is concerned, Comptel’s products can support network and service operations by providing predictive analytics to prevent network issues before they occur, providing tools for policy control to help prioritize the traffic in the case of congestion.

Besides, they also help to understand the potential revenue loss or customer satisfaction risk to prioritise the network issues

“Customers today are independent – they don’t need an operator to tell them what to do,” said Ari Vänttinen, Chief Marketing Officer, Comptel.

“However, they do need digital and communications service providers to give them relevant options and real-time recommendations, so they are empowered and can dictate their own buying experience. The new role of operators is to deliver on this before customers even have a chance to ask for them – which means transforming their business models to operate in Nexterday – the day after tomorrow.”

Operation Nexterday, therefore, enables digital and communications service providers to rewrite their sales and marketing, technology and service playbooks in this new era.

Comptel in India is currently working with leading telecom service providers such as Bharti-Airtel, Idea, Vodafone, TTSL.

“We work in close collaboration with our customers and partners to ensure the product functionalities are supporting the technology and business strategies of them. This way we can help them revise also their playbooks to build their Nexterday,” the company said.
