IESA, TiE and GE have shortlisted 8 innovative healthcare companies, from 45 start-ups in the healthcare space, for ‘Healthcare Product Showcase’ at the recently concluded IoTNext 2015 to showcase their innovative and impactful next-age IoT enabled Healthcare products.

Commenting about the awards, MN Vidyashankar, President, IESA said, “As the potential of Internet of Things blossoms with real-life anecdotes, healthcare as an industry has been quick to adopt the integration of IoT into their product innovation. We foresee a global dependence on India’s IoT ecosystem to deliver healthcare innovations and we have witnessed this during the recently concluded IoTNext 2015. It was very difficult to shortlist 8 companies from our 45 identified start-ups and it was a herculean task to finalize the winners for Innovation Award and Impact Award, as we believe each of these start-ups has the capability to take their products and services to the global audience. We convey our best wishes to Cardiac Design and BPL Medical Technologies for their achievement,” he further added.

On winning the award, Anand Madanagopal, Founder and CEO, Cardiac Design Labs said, “It is a moment of great pride for us that our efforts are getting noticed and recognized by the industry. In the present landscape, advanced cardiac diagnostic is only possible in large hospitals but with the innovations from Cardiac Design Labs, similar treatments can be available in any smaller hospitals. We sincerely believe that our attempts to make healthcare diagnosis simple will bring new benchmarks in the healthcare industry. We are honored to receive Impact Award in the Healthcare Product Showcase at the IoTNext 2015 and such recognitions further invigorates us to strive even harder for better innovations and technologies.” Cardiac Design Labs has also won the Popular Choice Award at IoTNext 2015.
