Bharti Airtel launches 4G trials in Hubli, Dharwad in Karnataka circles

NEW DELHI: Country's top telecom operator Bharti Airtel has launched 4G trials exclusively for its customers in the twin cities of Hubli and Dharwad in the Karnataka circle.

As part of the trial offer, Airtel customers in Hubli-Dharwad can now avail a complimentary upgrade to Airtel 4G at 3G prices.

"Customers in these cities can access internet speeds to enjoy capabilities like high definition video streaming with zero buffering, downloading up to 10 movies in less than 30 minutes, uploading entire photo albums in less than five minutes, connecting multiple devices without compromising on the experience," a release said.

"We want our existing customers to be the first ones to enjoy the Airtel 4G experience and are offering them a free upgrade to Airtel 4G at the same price as 3G. We are committed to build a truly world-class 4G network and thus look forward to our customers’ valuable feedback," said C Surendran, CEO – Karnataka, Bharti Airtel.

Airtel has also announced its go-to-market partnerships with Samsung and Flipkart for 4G devices.

Presently, Airtel’s 4G service is available in 24 cities and trial network is now available in eight cities.
