NEW DELHI: Country’s top operator Bharti Airtel has added 3.07 million subscribers in February, followed by Aditya Birla group's Idea Cellular (2.70 million) and Vodafone India (1.95 million), the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI) has said.
The total GSM connections increased by 1.40%, or 9.59 million in February to 697.01 million, over the previous month, the GSM lobby group said.
Airtel still remains the number 1 telecom player with 223.12 million subscribers followed by Vodafone (182.44 million), and Idea Cellular, (155.45 million).
UP East had the largest 61.97 million connections.
