The company has tied up with NTT-AT to present the NCX solution at Interop Tokyo 2014, where it has been selected as the finalist of Best of Show Award in Enterprise Class Networking Solutions.

Anuta NCX is available now, but the license based on per VM or per device depends on deployment model. YANG data model support is available in Q3’2014.

Anuta said that it has broader customer support with additional worldwide partners in key markets, through its NCX solution. In addition, significant enhancements are now available in data modeling with support for YANG language.

It is expanding its coverage in markets like: Brazil, Argentina and Chile, with partners in the region to support customer deployments.

The key feature of NCX is that it supports IETF YANG based data models, which is specified by RFC 6020 and is a data modeling language used to model configuration and state data manipulated by the network configuration protocol

(NETCONF), NETCONF remote procedure calls, and NETCONF notifications.

The other features include orchestration for service provider technologies such as VPLS, Pseudowire, and MPLS technologies, enhanced orchestration for routing protocols like BGP, RIP, OSPF, ISIS, integration and support for OpenStack IceHouse release.

“Customers, especially service providers are looking for standardized interfaces and data models and there is a growing adoption for YANG based data models,” said Srini Beereddy, CTO of Anuta Networks. “NCX support for YANG

enables customers and partners to develop device packages with a standard data modeling language, and also allows them to write applications using the standard data modeling languages instead of relying on vendor specific ones.”
