Airtel Platinum 3G reaches 149 towns of Punjab

NEW DELHI:India’s top telecom service provider Bharti Airtel has launched its Platinum 3G services for customers in Punjab. Airtel Platinum 3G, which is being offered on the efficient 900MHz spectrum band, offers a superior mobile experience to customers through faster mobile data speeds, significantly enhanced indoor data coverage and better voice clarity.

Airtel Platinum 3G is available in all 149 census towns across Punjab circle. With the combination of Airtel 4G and Platinum 3G, the Company has the largest and widest high speed internet network deployment in the state that offers its customers unparalleled mobile broadband coverage.

Airtel’s Platinum 3G network will also help further optimize the backend engagement between the network and mobile devices, thus allowing customers to enjoy extended battery life on their phones.

Innovative Double Data 3G pre-paid packs that redefine affordability and offer great value to customers by providing additional data benefits at night, effectively doubling the data limits for customers. With the new packs, customers will be able to save up to 40% on recharges, when compared to existing data packs. e.g. with the new double data pack of Rs 298/-, customers will get 2GB data (1GB 3G regular + 1GB night) with the validity of 28 days.
